Please bear with us when you come down if we look a bit like a building site, but we are at the start of a very exciting time with the installation of hydro power scheme that will generate enough power for around 30 homes. The project makes use of Venturi Enhanced Turbine Technology is the first of it’s kind in the world. We have an exhibition in the pub to show everyone what it is all about. By the middle of this year we hope to be able to supply all the electricity needs of the pub and marina from green renewable energy generated from the river. Come down and take a look
A big weekend this weekend starting with France v Italy on Friday 23rd Feb at 8pm followed by two matches on Saturday 24th Feb Ireland v Wales at 2.15pm and then Scotland v England at 4.45pm. All the games will be shown live in the back bar so come and join in the fun.

Our menu has been developed by our Head Chef Tom building on the philosophy of a family friendly, relaxed, pub restaurant. At the same time our customers want high quality, locally sourced food. Freshly prepared and beautifully presented. Tom has developed a menu that delivers that with pub classics like the burger transformed by making it freshly in our kitchen and then presenting it beautifully in a lovely brioche bun with fresh local salad and real chips.
