You asked for more wines by the glass and we’ve delivered! Some great new wines to try, some old favourites. Roses and summer whites and some glorious lighter reds and we now have an amazing 25 wines available by the glass!
River Mill goes Green!
We are delighted to announce that the turbine has now been installed and our new Stella Deck is fully open. Come and enjoy the last of summer by the river at the River Mill.
We hope to be able to announce final connections and that the hydro scheme is operational very soon. The scheme will generate enough power for around 30 homes. The project makes use of Venturi Enhanced Turbine Technology and is the first of it’s kind in the world. We have an exhibition in the pub to show everyone what it is all about.

Our menu has been developed by our Head Chef Tom building on the philosophy of a family friendly, relaxed, pub restaurant. At the same time our customers want high quality, locally sourced food. Freshly prepared and beautifully presented. Tom has developed a menu that delivers that with pub classics like the burger transformed by making it freshly in our kitchen and then presenting it beautifully in a lovely brioche bun with fresh local salad and real chips. Mouth-wateringly simple!
